Erica A. Antonucci

Erica Antonucci is a recent graduate of Long Island University's Brooklyn Campus where she received her M.A. in Psychology as well as her B.S. in dance. Erica's research interests include stigma and prejudice, female relationships, lesbian identity and the sexualization of girls by the media. Her thesis focused on perceived stigma in lesbian women, women of color and the intersection of the two.

Currently, Erica is investigating the stigma known as Singlism and its impact on non-heterosexual women. More about this project will be posted in the Current Projects section.

Erica is currently an adjunct faculty member at the College of New Rochelle and SUNY Westchester Community College.
